Boss is an extremely complex character here at Lake Hickory Haunts. He is known by many to be the most deadly man alive. His childhood, challenges, and talents make him the ideal villain to be on the Lake Hickory Haunts cast. When Boss was young, his parents owned a circus. His mother was a clown while his father ran a side show called the strongest man in the world. Boss traveled with his parents around the globe as most circus children do. He helped his parents with whatever they needed help with. As you could imagine, growing up this way caused Boss to be strange and develop social problems. He had a hard time communicating with other people outside of the circus and things of that sort. When Boss turned 16, his parents sent him off to clown school; this is what they believed he was destined to be. At clown school, Boss worked very hard, for the three years he attended clown school. No matter how hard he tried, nobody seemed to find him funny. However, the funniest clown at clown school was a boy named Pennywise. Pennywise was hilarious, and was the best that a clown could be. As one could imagine, boss was jealous and embarrassed by Pennywise. Pennywise and all of his clown friends always bullied Boss and made Boss feel even worse than he already did. Boss continued to attend clown school until he got fed up and finally ran away. Boss never wanted to see his parents again because of the pain they had sent him to at clown school. Boss decided to pursue bodybuilding; he figured this would be a good fit for him because his dad was the strongest man in the world. Boss worked out at the worst of gyms and any way he could to build muscle. He lived on the street and tried to get food any way he could, even if it meant robbing someone. Finally, one day, Boss hit rock bottom. He mugged someone on the street for their money and was arrested at age 23. He attended prison for eight years. While in prison, Boss lifted weights and studied books every day. He decided that he was going to take advantage of his time in prison to make himself a more developed person.  One day, while he was eating in prison, he was watching the news. He saw where a new movie named it had been released, and the star character’s name was Pennywise, this was the turning point in Boss’s life. From this point forward, for the three years he had left in prison, he studied and worked out with one goal in his mind; to get revenge on pennywise. When Boss was finally released from prison in August of 2012, he began searching for pennywise each and every day, for months. Finally, he found pennywise, on Halloween, at Lake Hickory Haunts. When he saw Pennywise at the big top circus at Lake Hickory Haunts, He instantly decided to murder Pennywise. He brutally beat Pennywise down and had Dr. Death help him antagonize and torture him until finally, Pennywise was dead. Boss took him out to the graveyard at Lake Hickory Haunts and began burying him. For some reason, he never finished covering him up. Sometimes, on nights when the moon is bright, one can see Pennywise’s dead decaying body in our graveyard. This is when we decided to hire Boss as our head clown. Since Boss brutally murdered our head clown, we knew he could be a key part in our show at Lake Hickory Haunts; so we decided to hire him. We gave him the circus to use it as he pleases, and gave him three clowns and a ringmaster to help him at the circus. In the off season after our 2012 season, Boss got to work. He doubled the size of the circus and re-named it the “Big, Big Top Circus™” to outdo Pennywise.  In the off season, he and his clowns worked on an experiment named ‘Bozo’, attempting to kill the customers at Lake Hickory Haunts. However, he was unsuccessful and Bozo was not good enough to get the job done. He claims that he will be working hard this off-season creating new experiments to torture and murder the customers in the 2014 haunt season. Boss is such a deadly and successful character due to his childhood, challenges, and characteristics. He is very strong due to the fact that he is an avid bodybuilder. He is also very smart due to the fact that he has studied the science of killing, torturing, and technological advancement for over eight years. These characteristics combined with his steroid usage side effects, anger issues, and troubled childhood, ensures that he will be the perfect head clown year after year at Lake Hickory Haunts. As Boss once said, “There will never be a more gruesome, technologically advanced, more deadly circus, than my Big, Big Top Circus™.”
